BUSY alternative
BUSY vs LalaJi ERP: hosted desktop or built for the browser?
BUSY is a capable accounting and inventory package with strong GST features. Its cloud edition, BUSY Online, runs that desktop software on a remote server: you reach it through remote access, some desktop features are left out, and the mobile app for salesmen is bought per device.
LalaJi was built for the browser and the phone from the start. The salesman app, WhatsApp sending and access from anywhere are part of the plan, with deliveries and, next, selling online in the same system.
Details about BUSY come from its official website, checked on 27 October 2026.
Choose BUSY if
- •You prefer a one-time desktop licence: BUSY 21 Standard is ₹40,000 for multiple users on one office network.
- •Your team already knows BUSY and works mostly from one office.
- •You need full books of accounts with reconciliation and final results today.
Choose LalaJi ERP if
- ✓Salesmen book orders and collect payments in the field, and the app should come included.
- ✓People work from different places and you want a browser app, not a remote desktop session.
- ✓You want WhatsApp invoices and reminders sent from the software, not one at a time through WhatsApp Desktop.
- ✓You deliver goods and want every drop tracked as delivered or failed, by route.
- ✓You plan to sell online through your own store and marketplaces from the same system.
